HISTORY   2002 - 2009

Filled with the desire to serve those with less, in 2002 the Whites ventured on their own to see what gifts they could offer to the poor of Guatemala.  The trip was life changing. Once home they decided to do something about the water in Guatemala affecting the poorest people.  They learned about a simple water filter called the "filtron" which could purify water to be 99.95% free of all bacteria. The filter only cost $35 and it would last a family for two to five years.  The Whites decided that this would be their mission to the poor . . . to give them a cup of clean water.   Read More

Core Beliefs

Dignity & Equality: All humanity has been made in God’s image. Through our actions we must express that each person is precious and that the lives and welfare of all people are priorities

Community & Participation: People are not only sacred, but also social. How we participate in our family and community from our daily actions affects each and every human being.

Rights and Responsibilities:  We must take responsibility to protect the rights of all people. These rights include the right to life, food, shelter, education, and employment.

Option for the PoorAs a community of faith, we have the obligation to reach out to those most in need and are called to take action on behalf of the most vulnerable members of society.

Solidarity:  We are one human family, regardless of our differences. Answering the call to love our neighbors promotes a culture of respect and lead to peace in our communities around the world.

Care for God's Creation: We are called to be good stewards of what has been entrusted to us. Through protecting the environment in which we live, we respect the goodness of nature, a gift that God has given.
