ABOUT
MICHELLE WHITE .
Dear Educators,
In reviewing my
resume from the PAREAP website you may get the impression that I have not done
anything substantial in a professional manner for a period of about 15 years.
This would be an incomplete picture of my work history. For this reason I
directed you to this website so that you can learn a little more about me.
Also, please take
into consideration that I have raised my daughter Kate (age 20) who has Down
syndrome and is also autistic. I have been involved in her education throughout
her life and have exposure to all types of special needs children.
Learn about my involvement in Special
Education since 1993 in the Lancaster area where I was an invited guest speaker
on the topic of Down syndrome. I have spoken at numerous churches, support
groups, and In-Service days for school districts.

What is also not evident in my resume is
that I was a long-term substitute in the Solanco School District while I lived
in Holtwood, PA. My long-term sub positions included 3 months Learning
Support grade 5 & 6, 2 months substitute in an Autism class, three months
substitute in Quarryville High School with learning disabled students.

America. For a short period of time I had a Fair Trade store which was
closed after the Economic Crisis in October 2008.
